MAIDEN VOYAGE CATCH

 

THE BOAT "C-CHEETA" is a new BLYTH 11 metre Catamaran Powered by 2 x Iveco 400 hp diesels with a Top speed 30 knots and a  cruise speed of 20-22 knots. Licensed 12 passengers +2 crew. Equipment comprises of the following: MLR GPS, Garmin GPS/MAP 5015 TOUCH SCREEN PLOTTER, Garmin 1 kw digital fish finder, 1 Analogue fish finder, Garmin 48 mile digital radar with G2 Vision mapping, Icom M505 VHF/DFC with built in fog alarm, M Tech VHF/DFC, Raymarine autopilot. All are interfaced. Computer plotter with Data base of around 400 wrecks. Stereo radio and CD player, 15 Inch digital TV AND DVD. OTHER EQUIPMENT includes: On deck flush toilet, heated passenger room and seating with tea/coffee making facilities and Microwave. Insulated fish room with ice to keep your fish fresh. Full safety equipment to MC Yellow code of practice. "C-CHEETA" will be berthed at Plymouth Yacht Haven Marina Mount Batten Marina, Plymouth where anglers have free parking for their cars.

THE SKIPPER GEORDIE DICKSON is the skipper and of course the heart and soul of the vessel with his 30 + years of experience and expertise. This is where "C-CHEETA" scores as Geordie probably knows more about the wrecks of the Western section of the English Channel than most of his competitors put together. There are few people with Geordie's expertise and track record in the industry out there today. His track record for large fish catches proves that. However things have changed from the early days of fishing as the quantities are no longer there, but the specimens are. Geordie is an advocate for CONSERVATION and Catch and Release when appropriate. It is the name of the game if your not going to eat your catch.
